Daniel Simon owns this 2016 Peterbilt 579, which he has nicknamed "Reefer Madness." The rig is powered by a Paccar MX-13 with a 10-speed Eaton. It is a refrigerated food hauler in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest. Based in Casper, Wyoming, the truck brings fresh and frozen food up and down the mountians "in rain, sleet, snow storm or polar vortex," he says. "Madness" is equipped with a winter front grille cover, APU, engine block and fuel tank heaters, and three complete sets of chains. "Ready for whatever the weather brings, we will be there to keep the shelves stocked," Simon says.
