Longtime owner-operator Joe Bahnsen owns this 1997 Freightliner Classic XL, which he uses to haul mostly oversized loads. The rig sports a Detroit Series 60 with a 13-speed. Bahnsen has been an owner operator since 1978 and has hauled just about everything at least once, he says. The truck has roughly 2.5 million miles and counting. It features 8-inch straight pipes "that have some good bark," he notes.
