Shorepower Technologies has extended its free power incentive for truckers, carrying it through the March 31. Drivers can use the company power pedestals to cut down on truck idling. The offer is provided in hopes that drivers will stay warm with either a space heater or onboard AC-compatible APU, particularly as winter storms hit regions of the country. The company installed 55 locations with power pedestals as of the end of 2012, with 23 locations going online in the fourth quarter.
