FMCSA’s driver coercion rule published, blocks carriers, shippers from threatening drivers with loss of pay
The rule will take effect Jan. 29. It puts in place fines of up to $16,000 for carriers, shippers, receivers and brokers who pressure truckers to operate in violation of federal safety rules, such as hours-of-service regs.
