More than 26,000 Kenworth, Peterbilt, Volvo, Mack trucks recalled over transmission issue
The recalls from Paccar, Volvo and Mack all stem from issues on trucks equipped with automated manual transmissions. In the affected trucks, an internal component in the clutch assembly could fail. Daimler Trucks and Great Dane also recently issued unrelated recalls.

Navistar recalls 21,000 International trucks over transmission issue
The company is recalling approximately 20,916 trucks with Eaton Electronic Clutch Actuation clutches.Navistar says an internal component in the clutch assembly may fail, possibly resulting in unintended vehicle movement. Great Dane is also recalling some Freedom drop deck trailers with rear impact guard issues.

More than 6,000 Freightliner Cascadias recalled over brake light issue
Daimler’s recall affects 6,326 model year 2017-2018 Cascadia tractors in which the brake lights may remain on after the brake pedal is released. Great Dane is also recalling a small number of dry van trailers that don’t have enough reflective conspicuity tape.

Brake issues prompt recalls by Daimler, Great Dane
Daimler’s recall affects 5,534 model year 2018-2019 Freightliner Custom Chassis, Freightliner and Western Star trucks that have brake caliper mounting bolts that may have been insufficiently tightened at the factory. More than 250 Great Dane Everest trailers are being recalled for two separate brake issues.

Great Dane is recalling approximately 90 of its model year 2018 Everest reefer trailers using Meritor axles and suspensions, while Trail King has recalled just two of its Fifth-Wheel Live Bottom belt trailers.
