Defending Bandit Series champ grabs first win of season

Proffitt started the race in 7th and used a timely caution flag halfway through the race to take the lead on a restart and never look back. Proffitt beat out Mike Morgan and Allen Boles for the victory.

Bandit truck racing series sees another first-time winner

Marshall Davis claimed his first win in a race that had four caution delays in the first four laps. Davis started the event in 11th place out of 16 truck racers and worked his way up through the field. The Bandit racers will also be in action this weekend, June 29, at Salem Speedway in Salem, Indiana.

The Fan Series Truck Show, which is open for the public to bring their rigs to show off, will be open throughout the day Saturday, June 22, and the gates to the track open at 3 p.m. There will be a meet-and-greet with Bandit drivers from 5-6:15 p.m., and racing will begin at 7 p.m.

Poor weather forecast prompts Bandit Series to postpone upcoming race

The race at Salem Speedway in Salem, Indiana, has been rescheduled for Saturday, June 29. The next event on the series’ schedule is Saturday, June 22, at Lebanon I-44 Speedway in Lebanon, Missouri.
