âIn loving memory of Gordon Halcombâ: One sharp 2007 Peterbilt 379 of three rigs so dedicated
Three that Iâve seen, anyway â here find detail, and video, on one of them, the 2007 Peterbilt 379 driver Randy Earnest pulls in with small fleet Halcomb Farms Trucking, leased with Tralo. As with the two others Halcomb showed, the truck Earnest drives is dedicated to owner Kenny Halcombâs father, Gordon, who passed in 2017.

At GBATS, Rick Bestwick and company â owners of the Mel-Rick Inc. 10-truck hopper and step-deck pulling fleet of Sabetha, Kan. â showed two classics and two hardworking gliders. Catch more about them, and the Mel-Rick business incorporated since the early 1980s, in this new video.

One such benefit â when his oil provider found out heâd gone a million without needing an overhaul, techs tore down owner-op Dave Martiâs C15 in the course of filming a video about it, all on the dime of a party other than Marti. âHindsight to this story, though,â he says, is âwe probably could have gone a long way further without opening it up,â and without engine issues.
