Love’s opens ninth Virginia location

LovesLove’s Travel Stops this week opened its ninth Virginia location in Talleysville, approximately 20 miles east of Richmond on I-64 at exit 211.

The new store features an Arby’s restaurant, seven showers, 86 truck parking spaces, a game room, laundry facilities, a Love’s Truck Tire Care center and more.

“We’re happy to offer services to professional drivers in a big area of need,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love’s. “Talleysville is in a great location along Interstate 64 connecting the coastal cities, including Virginia Beach, Norfolk and Newport News with Richmond and points beyond.”

Through the end of September, Love’s is holding its annual fundraising campaign for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in which drivers can purchase paper balloons for $1, $5 or $20. All money raised benefits sick and injured children in the local communities.

The truck stop chain is also celebrating Truck Driver Appreciation Week throughout the month of September. Drivers can visit any Love’s with a touchscreen computer and enter his or her My Love Rewards number for a chance to win 1 million My Love Rewards points, a $10,000 retail value.
