The Love’s Travel Stops location in Ormond Beach, Florida, along I-95 will be fuel-and-go only for trucks beginning Friday, March 8 through Sunday, March 17 to accommodate for Daytona Bike Week. Long-term parking will not be available during the event.
The truck stop is located next door to Daytona Harley Davidson, which is a major participant in the annual motorcycle rally, causing high traffic volume in and around the area.
In previous years, the increased traffic with truckers waiting to fuel, combined with the influx of cars and motorcycles, has caused severe traffic james forcing police to close the exit. In order to keep the exit open, truckers should plan to grab fuel and go throughout the event.
