Kristen Belcher, a teacher at Kaufman Elementary School in Spring, Texas, is June’s Teacher of the Month for nonprofit outreach Trucker Buddy International.
Belcher’s third-grade class is paired with Titan Express driver Russell James, who shares his trucking experiences with the students. James said he nominated Belcher because she is knowledgeable about trucking, explains the industry’s importance to her students and that she maintains classroom cooperation during James’s visits.
