Owner-Operator of the Year nominations due Friday

2015 Driver Of The Year 2017 01 05 14 58The winner of the annual Owner-Operator of the Year contest, presented by the Truckload Carriers Association and Overdrive, will go home from TCA’s annual convention in March $25,000 richer.

The nation’s safest drivers, who’ve also improved the image of trucking and served their communities, will be recognized March 1-3, 2020, at the Gaylord Palms in Kissimmee, Florida.

One owner-operator winner and a company driver winner will be named, with each receiving $25,000. Each of four runners-up will be awarded $2,500. The Company Driver of the Year is presented by TCA and Overdrive sister publication Truckers News.

The Owner-Operator of the Year contest is meant to recognize owner-operators who operate safely and promote the industry, as well as run their businesses successfully.

Nominations for both contests are being accepted here through Nov. 15. Cummins and Love’s Travel Stops sponsor the contest.
