I wrote this song to give the general public a snapshot of what a truck driver has to deal with on a day to day basis. Issues like loneliness, detachment from society and overall disregard for truckers’ safety on the roadways are just a few of the things we have to deal with. My hope is to show people that the trucks may be as big as monsters but the drivers are nothing more than real human beings.

Tuesday at the Love's at I-65 on Trinity Lane in Nashville, the cash diesel price had already moved to $4.18/gal., credit another 6 cents higher. Down the street at a small service station you'd play hell getting a tractor-trailer into or out of, pricing remained in the $3.70/gal. range.
