Trucker Colin Young was westbound on I-70 nearing entrance to the Eisenhower Tunnel in Colorado. As he noted with the video entry in Ovedrive‘s “Dashcam Central” repository for reader-submitted dash vids, the “road was closed for emergency repairs, but evidently it’s OK to pass on the shoulder if you’re behind an ambulance.”
As you’ll see in the vid, it was not just a single vehicle making such a pass in the ambulance’s draft. “I do wonder if the skiers paid extra for this level of service,” Young quips.
