POLL: Just how bad is the 'parking at the fuel island' problem?

Overdrive reader Preston Stephenson wrote in wondering how often others are seeing folks occupying fuel-island space as if they're going to get (sometimes well more than) a 30-minute break out of the stop. At least one truck stop he knows of, he said, has begun booting trucks that do so as an attempt at deterrence of the practice.

In his view, he added, "it’s becoming a real epidemic" and he's "seen some instances where things get pretty heated."

Weigh in via the poll or comments with your own perspective. Just how common is it?
