Tracy Lawrence to play GATS concert

Country music artist Tracy Lawrence will headline tonight’s GATS concert sponsoredtracylawrence by Mobil Delvac. Tickets for the concert will be distributed at GATS today before the concert and are free for registered attendees. The concert begins at 6:30 p.m.

The Texas native started his career in 1991 and has released nine studio albums, three compilations, a live album and a Christmas album and has more than 30 singles on the Billboard country music charts, eight of them reaching number one.

His hits include “Sticks and Stones,” “Texas Tornado,” “If the World Had a Front Porch” and “Paint Me a Birmingham.”

He also has won numerous awards, including Billboard’s Top New Male Vocalist in 1992 and the Academy of Country Music’s Top New Male Vocalist in 1993.

“We as a nation are indebted to our truck drivers, and truck drivers are synonymous with country music,” Lawrence says. “They are the pulse of America, connected through interstate and radio. I am pleased to spend time with and perform for these hard-working men and women.”
