Specialized freight transporter Bennett Motor Express April 16 launched “Drive 4 BME”, a nationwide recruitment campaign to lease on more than 200 new owner-operators in 30 days.
The McDonough, Ga.-based company is looking for qualified independent owner-operators to run freight in 48 states and Canada.
“Owner-operator retention and recruitment is key to our strategic growth, and I believe our strong safety and family culture give us a competitive advantage in recruiting professional owner-operators,” says BME President and campaign spokesperson David Lowry.
Lowry joined some of the company’s 574 employees to kick off the program with a live webcast to its recruitment centers in 12 states. The kick-off continued with a live broadcast of the company’s new XM radio station 171 advertising spots, and ended with the debut of a new recruitment website, www.drive4bme.com.
The 30-day campaign aims to add qualified owner-operators to the company’s five divisions, while also focusing on retention of its 600 drivers. BME comprises five divisions – flatbed, step deck, government services, heavy haul and air & space services. For more information, visit www.drive4bme.com.
