Carl Krites, a 31-year veteran and 12-year Con-way Freight driver, of Wapakoneta, Ohio, has won a 2010 Freightliner Cascadia given to him by his fleet for wining the National Truck Driving Championship sponsored by the American Trucking Associations. A Con-way driver has won the contest for three of the last four years.

The customized Cascadia is equipped with a Detroit Diesel DD13 and includes heated admiral seats with built-in massagers, Sirius XM Satellie Radio and power windows. He was also awarded a 2010 Ford F-150 pickup and a cash prize.

“It was so overwhelming to win the title, and to receive the Freightliner Cascadia is icing on the cake,” Krites told Freightliner Trucks spokeswoman Amy Sills. “The ride is smooth, and the engine has great pulling power.”
