Battery status indicator

The Battery Status Indicator is a device that can be added to monitor the state of power for any battery, particularly lift gate batteries, and alerts operators during pre-trip inspections that battery power may be lower than required. The LED light flashes green if battery voltage is more than 12.4 volts, or 75 percent power, and blinks red when the voltage falls below 12.39 volts.

FMCSA auditing 1,500 CDL schools as part of training provider registry purge

After removal of roughly 3,000 training provider listings on its registry, FMCSA is getting down to the tough work of in-person audits of more than 1,500 schools.
