The Fuel Preporator II filter removes large particulate contaminants from diesel fuel using proprietary Demand Flow Technology. The filter is designed to operate at flows and pressures beyond the engine’s maximum requirements. It receives fuel under vacuum from the fuel tank containing entrained air/vapor, particulates and water. The filter discharges air/vapor from the filter and back to the fuel tank through the primary air/vapor discharge port. Internal engine tests have shown a gain of up to 0.73 miles per gallon with use of the filter. An installation kit comes with the system.
