Marten institutes detention pay

Drivers who arrive on time and are delayed by a shipper or receiver for more than two hours over the scheduled delivery time will be paid for the detention effective July 1, Marten Transport said.

The rates are $12 per hour for company drivers and $20 per hour for owner-operators for every hour detained beyond the two-hour limit, up to 11 hours, the Mondovi, Wis.-based carrier said.
