Congress to hear how Calif. trucking challenges impact rest of U.S.

The 21st Century Freight Transportation congressional panel’s first field hearing, “How Southern California Freight Transportation Challenges Impact the Nation” is set for May 30.

The newly formed panel will meet 1:30 p.m. Pacific daylight time at Historic Santa Fe Depot in San Bernardino.

The U.S. House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure established the panel this year to make recommendations on improving freight transportation.

Mike Fox, Fox Transportation president and chief executive officer, will be among the witnesses testifying.
