Brad BentleyThe Truckload Carriers Association announced Sept. 18 it has selected Brad Bentley as its new president. Bentley will succeed Chris Burruss, who resigned as head of TCA in June for personal reasons.
Bentley, who currently is the editorial director of Overdrive publisher Randall-Reilly’s recruiting division, will be moving from Alabama to the Washington, D.C., area, and will officially assume the position in mid-October.
Bentley “has been active in TCA,” the group says, serving as the co-chair of the association’s Image and Communication Policy Committee. He also is a member of the Board of Directors as well as the Recruitment and Retention Human Resources Committee.
TCA says he helped the association formalize partnerships with Wreaths Across America and promoted its Highway Angel program regularly throughout the years.
