Mack’s historical museum turns 30

Mack PinnacleMack Trucks announced this week its Mack Trucks Historical Museum celebrated its 30th anniversary last month. The museum commemorates the 114 years of Mack’s history with photos, memorabilia and a collection of vintage Mack trucks.

Roughly 6,000 people visit the museum each year. Its home to famous Mack trucks like those used in Cars, Transformers and Die Hard. It also houses the old existing Mack: a 40-horsepower, 28-passenger sightseeing bus.

The museum also helps host Trucktoberfest, an annual appreciation event for the antique truck club organizations that support the museum. More than 300 people and 100 vintage trucks take part in this celebration of Mack heritage.

The museum is located in Allentown, Pa., and is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
