CalTrans published notification that construction associated with the I-5 “Ocean View Rehab Project” between the Aliso Creek Rest Area and the San Diego-Orange County line in California will continue Monday through Saturday. Feb. 23 – 28.
Crews will work on sections of the NB and SB lanes, closing three of the four lanes. Closures are scheduled to take place Mon.-Thurs., 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., Friday 9 p.m. to 8 a.m., and Saturday 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.
The NB Las Pulgas Road or Basilone Road on- and off-ramps, and the SB Las Pulgas Road on- and off-ramps, will also be closed Monday through Saturday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. No two consecutive ramps will be closed at any time.
In addition, the SB entrance to the Aliso Creek Rest Area will be closed Wed.-Thurs. from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., and Fri. from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m. Nearest services available are in Oceanside, Calif.
The $43 million I-5 Ocean View Rehab Project is expected to be completed in fall 2015.
