Dayton opens Nebraska service center

Dayton Freight Lines, a provider of regional less-than-truckload services, has opened a new service center in Omaha, Neb., its first location in the state.

The Dayton, Ohio-based company said the 10-door facility is located strategically to offer faster and more direct service for its Midwest customers.

Indiana-headquartered owner-operator John Penn is making a name for himself amongst his peers for a drive to excel in fuel efficiency and management of customer relationships for steady business. Penn is the October Trucker of the Month, putting him in the running for Overdrive's 2025 Trucker of the Year award.
