Michigan DOT reported that Interstate 496 in Eaton and Ingham counties would see single lane closures in both directions starting tonight, Friday, May 8, at 8 p.m. for pavement repairs. The project is centered between I-96 and I-96 Business Loop (Cedar Street). Lane closures, MDOT noted, would be limited to 2-3 miles in length.
All lanes are expected to reopen by 5 a.m. on Monday, May 11.
Next week, single lane closures in each direction on US-23 in Southern Monroe County between School Road and Ida Center Road will proceed for concrete patch work. Lane closures will occur during the following times:
**Monday-Thursday between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. daily
**Friday between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.
