Truckstop.com Theater to provide array of offerings at GATS

Returning to the Great American Trucking Show in 2016 is the Truckstop.com Theater.

The theater will be home to plenty of live sessions and entertainment throughout GATS, and it’s located in the heart of the show floor. The events schedule for the Truckstop.com Theater is as follows:

•Market Movers  Thursday, Aug. 25, 12:30-4:15 p.m.
Content prepared especially for fleet executives, truck OEMs, dealers, and independent repair facilities. Town hall discussion on E-commerce and its effects on the trucking industry.

•ESGR Military Signing  Friday, Aug. 26, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
FASTPORT and Randall-Reilly have joined forces to educate and inspire the next generation of transitioning military veterans and the citizen soldiers of our nation’s Guard and Reserve to pursue careers in the trucking industry.

•Partners in Business seminar – Friday, Aug. 26, 1:30-2:30 p.m. and 3:30-4:30 p.m.
ATBS is the nation’s largest owner-operator financial services provider and a co-producer of Overdrive’s Partners in Business owner-operator guide.

•Pride & Polish National Championship Awards Ceremony – Saturday, Aug. 27, 10:30 a.m. – noon
The National Championship winners of the 2015-2016 show truck season will be announced, as well as the first winners of the 2016-2017 season.

•Partners in Business seminar – Saturday, Aug. 27, 1-2 p.m. and 3-4 p.m.
Trucking radio host Kevin Rutherford is a small fleet owner and is a former owner-operator accountant and past Overdrive columnist that will lead these Partners in Business seminars.

GATS will be held Thursday, Aug. 25 through Saturday, Aug. 27 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in downtown Dallas. Free registration is available online here before the show begins.
