ProMiles, Teletrac Navman partner to offer GPS tracking, automatic fuel tax reporting

Updated Jan 3, 2017

A new partnership between Teletrac Navman and ProMiles will allow owner-operators  to receive accurate trip records and eliminate manual data entry for fuel tax reporting.

ProMiles brings its automated fuel tax reporting system to the partnership, which will combine with Teletrac Navman’s GPS tracking system, Director.

“Thanks to our integration with ProMiles, we can now offer our customers an even more powerful platform for fleet management, and by incorporating automated fuel tax reporting, we are able to help reduce the risk of audits and compliance violations – all within a single view,” said Daren Lauda, general manager of North America, Teletrac Navman.

The companies say the integration will give real-time position updates, including street names and zip codes, mileage and a truck’s driving direction and automatic synchronization for tracked trucks for fuel tax reporting.
