Rand McNally this week released its updated Motor Carriers’ Road Atlas, which features information on truck-navigable roads, trucking regulations and low bridge clearances.
The new edition is available in several formats at travel centers, bookstores and online, including paperback and a laminated, spiral-bound version, the company says.
“Even as many professional drivers adopt technology to help them do their jobs – such as with electronic logging – most continue to rely on the Motor Carriers’ Road Atlas as a quick reference and reliable back-up for navigation,” says Rand McNally CEO Stephen Fletcher.
Some features in the atlas include a 22-page mileage directory with more than 40,000 truck-specific, city-to-city mileages; charts with state and provincial permit agency phone numbers and websites, low clearances, weigh stations and more.
