PFJ donates $125k to company helping military vets start businesses

Pilot Flying J is saluting military veterans for Veterans Day by donating $125,000 to Bunker Labs, a non-profit organization built by veterans that aims to help other veterans start and grow businesses.

PFJ says its donation will help the Chicago-based Bunker Labs nationwide expansion. The company has helped veterans launch more than 360 companies since 2014, creating more than 1,700 new jobs. Of the $125,000 donated by PFJ, $25,000 will be applied directly to expanding the Bunker Labs chapter in Tennessee.

โ€œItโ€™s both an honor and a responsibility to show recognition and provide resources to the men and women who protect our freedom,โ€ said James A. Haslam II, Pilot Flying J founder and chairman. โ€œI hope the partnership with Bunker Labs will result in opportunities for our veterans, in helping them settle into and prosper in their post-military life. Weโ€™re humbled to be a part of this and to help support our veterans with Bunker Labs.โ€
