The American Transportation Research Institute is seeking carrier feedback on a new survey about e-commerce and its impacts on the trucking industry.

The 14-question anonymous survey looks to find out how the recent emergence of e-commerce has changed business models and operations within trucking.

The questionnaire asks truckers and carriers about their experiences hauling e-commerce freight, including the percentage of truck trips that involved the delivery or return of e-commerce packages, the delivery window of e-commerce freight, as well as information about the use of alternative fuel vehicles.

Respondents who submit completed surveys by Friday, April 6, will be eligible for entry in a raffle to win one of five $100 gift cards. The survey can be completed here.

The “Impacts of E-Commerce on the Trucking Industry” report will be available later this year, ATRI says.
