The Nevada Department of Transportation will close I-15 Northbound through Las Vegas tonight, Nov. 27, between 9 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28.
The section of interstate that will be closed is between Sahara Avenue and Charleston Boulevard, a 1-mile stretch of highway. Additionally, the Sahara Avenue onramp to I-15 will be closed between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 5 a.m. Wednesday.
The closure is needed for the installation of active traffic management signs as part of the ongoing Project Neon I-15 widening project. Detours are available by taking Sahara Avenue east to Las Vegas Boulevard north to Charleston Boulevard west to get back on I-15.
