Dump-truck loads platform comes to Alabama

Updated Mar 1, 2019

The Trux dump-focused logistics platform is now available for loads originating in greater Birmingham and Huntsville. The launch is its first availability in Alabama and marks the third new metro launch for Trux in 2019, following Los Angeles, announced last month, and metro Phoenix.

The service is a cloud-based dump truck management solution that offers truckers, contractors and material providers key features such as automated dispatching, tracking, driver notification, paperless ticketing and driver payment.

The open marketplace offers independent dump truck owner-operators access to load opportunities they might not otherwise have.

“Alabama has been high on the radar for Trux,” said CEO Jeff Gower. “Birmingham and Huntsville are both vibrant, lively cities with plenty of development and an increasing need for flexible dump-truck operations. We are looking forward to helping drivers, contractors, and material producers in the region conduct their businesses more efficiently.”

The company has plans to expand into 44 additional markets across North America this year.
