Overdrive Senior Editor Todd Dills has won another Jesse H. Neal Award, which recognizes excellence in business journalism. Dills won the Neal Award in the Best Range of Work by a Single Author category for his wide-ranging coverage of trucking news, his Channel 19 blog, podcasts and more.
Dills was named the winner in the category in a ceremony held in New York City last week.
In addition to Dills’ award, Overdrive sister publication CCJ claimed a Neal Award in the Best Series category for its “The Driver Deficit” series, a three-month series examining the impact of fleets’ perception of a “driver shortage” and exploring methods to mitigate it.
Finally, Overdrive sister publication Equipment World won a Neal Award for Best Single Issue of a Magazine with its “Death by Trench” issue from June 2018.
