Meet the 2013 Ride of Pride memorial truck driver

Flowery Branch, Ga.-based Chuck Ceccacci has worn several hats as an associate of Schneider National since he started as a company driver after getting off-track toward law enforcement after his military service in the Marine Corps. Schneider has been selected by Freightliner to run the truck in their Ride of Pride Memorial Truck program for military servicemembers six of the 11 years of its existence, Ceccacci says. Through that time, he’s been aware of the program, but he was surprised when he was nominated by a colleague to drive the truck during the latest selection round. 

He took the keys to the Freightliner Cascadia just a few months ago with a 13-month commitment. He tells part of the story of his experience in the remarkably decorated rig thus far in the following video.
