Chris Phillips’ “Black Betty” is a 2002 Kenworth W900L powered by a 750-horsepower Caterpillar C15 and backed by an Eaton 18-speed. Phillips, based in Craig, Colo., uses “Black Betty” for over-the-road heavy hauls. He usually hauls freight with a Fontaine TH55 lowboy with a fourth axle tagalong.
