Mc Donald 2019 06 14 08 54

David McDonald, out of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, pulls a 2019 Utility dry van with this 2000 Peterbilt 379. The rig is powered by a 6NZ Cat with an 18-speed and 3:36 rears and sits on a 296-inch wheelbase. McDonald, owner of Pleasant Hill, Missouri-based Bluestem Trucking & Excavating, usually hauls empty totes out of Chillicothe, Missouri, to Kansas City, or feed from St. Joseph, Missouri to Nutra Blend in Neosho, Missouri. Work he’s done to his Pete includes a year-and-a-half frame-off rebuild, which included matching the paint scheme of the firewall and floor to match the exterior paint. He has also added lights underneath the cab, air lines that come out of the back of the tractor, air ride to the front end, a lift bumper, Trux Dual Revolution red to blue lights, 8-inch straight stacks and more.
