A show Pete’s working trailer: Handle with care

Pp Trucks20 2020 04 16 13 43This 1990 Peterbilt 379 appeared on the first Overdrive’s Pride & Polish calendar, for 2005. At the time it was part of an 11-truck operation in Paris, Arkansas, that hauled mostly aggregates and scrap metal.

“Thank goodness the places we haul in and out of know us and keep an eye out for the trailer,” said Bill Culver at the time. His father, Johnny Culver, said he founded the family concrete operation with nothing but a shovel and a religious faith reflected in the business name: Master Made.

The Pete won a trophy in the Specialty category of the 2004 Pride & Polish, held at the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas.
