
Kiegan Nelson, a company driver for Vinnie Diorio's Rollin' Transport out of Richfield, Wisconsin, won Best of Show at the 2021 Shell Rotella SuperRigs working truck show with a 2020 Peterbilt 389. An awards ceremony Saturday afternoon wrapped up a three-day show that saw more than 60 trucks registered.
Nelson's 389 also picked up Best Interior at the 39th annual SuperRigs.
For winning Best of Show, Nelson and truck owner Vinnie Diorio won $10,000 and 50,000 My Miles Matter reward points.
"It's crazy – there's a lot of nice trucks out here," Nelson said. "A lot of cool people with a lot of nice trucks. To come out on top is pretty crazy, to compete with a lot of nice stuff."
Recognized with Nelson in Best of Show were:
Brian Dreher, of Campbellsport, Wisconsin, bagged first runner-up with his 2016 Peterbilt 389 and accompanying 2017 Great Dane. Dreher also won the Best Engine category.
And...
Truett Novosad, the owner of Caldwell, Texas-based Equipment Express, won second runner-up with this 2007 Peterbilt 379, "Doc Holliday." Novosad also won Best Theme with the unit – one of four he had in the competition.
