PrePass ELD self-certified in FMCSA registry

Pre Pass Eld 2017 11 20 11 46Help Inc., says its smartphone-based electronic logging device has been self-certified to meet all requirements of the U.S. DOT’s ELD mandate and has been added to the registry of available ELDs maintained by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

The PrePass ELD app costs $14.99 a month and is available for both Android and iOS. The app requires the use of an on-board diagnostics connector, to be plugged in to the engine’s ECM, to become a compliant ELD. The PrePass ELD app also offers DVIR capabilities and other onboard diagnostics.
