Thermo King offers Closed Loop Cooling as an option for the TriPac Hybrid Auxiliary Idle Reduction and Temperature Control System (APU). The Closed Loop Cooling reduces installation complexity, has an emergency tractor alternator backup and allows TriPac to run independently of the tractor cooling system. The product is ideal for drivers who frequently operate in warm climates or simply prefer that the TriPac system not tie into the tractor engine coolant, the company says.
