Wabash National’s Brenner fiberglass reinforced plastic tank trailer is designed to transport sulfuric acid in concentrations up to 98 percent. The FRP unit was developed in conjunction with Poly-Coat Systems, a provider of non-metallic vessels for corrosive products, to provide an alternative to stainless-steel tank trailers while allowing for increased payload and an extended asset lifecycle. It is suited for customers transporting bleach, hydrochloric acid, ferric chloride, oilfield chemicals and corrosive wastes.
