Truck grille guard manufacturer Ex-Guard introduced this week its HD-CM425 and HD-CM495 grille guards designed to be compatible with model year 2021-'24 Kenworth T680 Next Gen models featuring the Bendix Wingman Fusion driver-assistance system equipped with Active Cruise and Braking (ACB) features.

Ex-Guard said the guards are an industry first, exclusively designed to enhance safety and decrease downtime without interfering with Bendix’s collision mitigation technology. A patent-pending relief design alleviates a point of interference that other guards inadvertently create because of the offset location of the collision mitigation system on the Kenworth T680.

Grille guards help reduce and eliminate expenses related to downtime, towing, collision repair and replacement parts which can total $15,000 or more per collision., the company added.

Ex-Guard’s grille guards are made in the United States and feature a single hand release latch system that provides easy access while maintaining security, the company noted. Additionally, rattle-free latches, made of the highest quality, ensure smooth and efficient operation.

The HD-CM425 provides protection for the bumper, fog lights, and radiator, while the larger HD-495 offers complete front-end protection.

Both guards are available with ultra-durable sparkling silver or deep black PVC coating. MSRP is $1,670 and $2,230, respectively.
