Three of the four stars of History Channel’s Ice Road Truckers showed their good will to other drivers during the third episode of the series’ 11th season last week, writes Overdrive sister site Truckers News Editor David Hollis in his weekly recap.

Lisa Kelly, Art Burke and Alex Debogorski all stopped to help others, even though unseasonably warm temperatures were causing the ice roads to fall apart, according to Hollis.

Debogorski spotted human footprints in the snow in the middle of the trail he was on and later finds a man trudging through the snow. He stopped to give the man a ride, shared some food and traversed a seven-mile lake to finish his route.

Kelly came upon another truck stuck in the middle of the road because the driver couldn’t make it up the hill ahead. Kelly offered her services and drove the truck up the hill for the stranded driver.

Burke found a car stranded in the snow and stopped to lend a hand, putting on a tow strap and pulling the car back onto the road.

Todd Dewey didn’t have to stop to help anyone, but he had his hands full with his own trip. He had an 11-mile crossing of a frozen lake, which was already beginning to crack before he arrived.
