Trucking loses another: Remembering retired owner-operator and Army Staff Sergeant Daniel Joye
"We nicknamed him 'Thunder Child'," said close friend and owner-operator Mike Crawford. Joye had little patience for customers with detention issues or loads that required a lot of deadhead, yielding max efficiency. He was 69 when he passed last month.
