It was quite a collection of trucker-songwriters all, from opener and talent-search alumnus (from the 2015 edition, and who needs no introduction) “Long Haul Paul” Marhoefer to emcee Tony Justice and this year’s competitors Benford “B.J.” Williams, James Nelson, and the ultimate winner, Mandi Jo Pinheiro.
