Log-haul ‘pride and joy’ KW W900

This 2013 Kenworth W900 is the “pride and joy,” says Mike Zipperer, of the Florida-based T.W. Byrd’s Sons’ logging fleet, Byrd Trucking. Zipperer, who helps manage the business’ engine shop, you may remember from last Thursday’s post about owner-operator Don Cooper’s 1998 Pete.

Zipperer, when we talked early last week, promised to send along some shots of the Kenworth, a regular at local parades since the fleet purchased it, one of two similarly spec’d 2013 KWs now on the road in Florida. Hope you enjoy.
