“The Dreamsicle”, Bill Rethwisch’s 2012 Peterbilt 389 and matching Polar tanker, won Best of Show, Working Combo at the 2013 Fitzgerald show and went on to win the 2013 Pride & Polish National Championship in the same category. His new truck, a 2013 Peterbilt 389 and matching tanker, “Blood, Sweat and Gass”, won Best of Show at the 75 Chrome Shop Pride & Polish show in April.The 2014 Overdrive’s Pride & Polish circuit continues its nationwide truck beauty show tour July 18-19 in Crossville, Tenn., off Interstate 40 at Fitzgerald Glider Kits’ parts and sales facility.
The show is free to the public and offers live music, a NASCAR simulator, food and refreshments, prizes and giveaways and a bouncy house for children. All proceeds at the show go to benefit St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
The show will be the fifth and last qualifying stop for the 2014 Pride & Polish National Championship tour. The four best of show winners from the Fitzgerald event will square off in a final judging round against best of show winners from Pride & Polish stops at the 2013 Great American Trucking Show, 2013 PDI Dyno Event, 2014 75 Chrome Shop Show and 2014 River States Truck Show.
Jerad Wittwer and Todd Roccapriore’s “Family Buziness” 2007 Peterbilt 379 won Best of Show in the Limited Mileage Bobtail category at the 2013 Fitzgerald Pride & Polish event. It also won the 2013 Pride & Polish National Championship.The National Championship judging round will take place in Dallas next month at The Great American Trucking Show.
