Don Mueller’s 2020 Freightliner Coronado glider

Don Mueller owns this 2020 Freightliner Coronado glider, using it to pull a 48-foot step deck hauling hay, shingles and more between Illinois and Denver. The rig is powered by a 500-hp Detroit 60 Series with a 13-speed Eaton and 3:42 rears. It was built by Floyd’s Truck Center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Mueller says he plans to drive the truck into retirement. The truck is shown above with Mueller’s wife, Myrna. The couple is based in Sidney, Nebraska.
