Brian Mounts, of Gilbert, West Virginia, hauls a variety of freight with his 2005 Kenworth W900L. The rig sports a Cat C15 MXS Twin Turbo with a 13-speed and 3:36 Spicer 404 rears. The truck has just over 1 million miles. Mounts did a complete platinum overhaul in August 2016 at 871,000 miles. He has added a bumper light bar and a 13-inch drop visor from RoadWorks, cab and sleeper lights, and sanded and polished the wheels. The paint was custom when he bought the truck. Mounts, the owner of Smiley Trucking, hauls mostly frac sand pulling a pneumatic tank for the oil and gas fields, but he also occasionally hauls coal and logs.
